Hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous and that you stuffed yourself silly. And if you didn’t, I did for you.  I gained the Turkey Ten. I haven’t exactly weighed myself to check, but I think the fact that I actually popped a button when doing the “pants dance” (extreme lunges and squats) after pulling up my favorite jeans earlier this morning kind of says it all.

Suchhhhhhhhhh a bummer.

Why do I do this to myself every single year? And why is it that every single year I make a vow to not participate in over indulgence of food & alcohol yet come game time I throw that vow right out the window. See ya never skinny jeans.

Now that Thanksgiving is over and instead of self loathing and continuing to eat food that enhances my new and improved thunder thighs I decided I needed to do my body a solid and get back on track by creating meals that are healthy, easy and 100 percent satisfying.

Sweet & Creamy Avocado Smoothie. It literally is one of the most deliciously tasting smoothies I’ve ever consumed. No joke. And the best part about the sweet n creamy avocado smoothie? It’s 100 percent healthy and incredibly easy to make. Perfect protein packed on the go meal. Another benefit to this smoothie is a glowing complexion (if consumed three or four days a week). I literally haven’t had to apply lotion on my face this past week when normally I shed like a snake during these winter months. And for that reason alone you should try it 🙂

If you prefer your smoothie to be a little on the colder side I recommend using a frozen banana or freezing your almond milk in an ice tray the night before.
