Brandied Peaches

Serves: 2 cups
- 5 peaches, outer skin removed, and chopped into ½" pieces
- ⅓ cup peach preserves
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 tsp california garlic powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp brandy
- First in a small pan over medium heat add your peaches, butter and peach preserves
- Place pan over medium heat and cover with lid, stirring every couple minutes. Do this for about 6 minutes.
- Next add your thyme, garlic powder, brown sugar & brandy.
- Mix together and place back over medium heat.
- Cover with lid and allow to cook for about 6 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Eat alone or serve over some pork chops & cheesy grits!
