Okay, SO I wouldn’t quite even label this as a “staycation” however my son and I are dog sitting (literally only 15 minutes away and it looks like I packed for an exotic vacation) and we are staying in an actual home…. with a yard…  comfortable bedroom(s) (however we are currently sharing the bed) and well, a garage! So when if I forget something I don’t have to take my son out of his car seat and run him back inside with me as to avoid being judged harshly by neighbors or have social services called on me for leaving him in the car alone =I

What you don’t see pictured are his tantrums, because that would be WAY too honest and expose the reality of parenting. You also don’t see me, who is the perfect example of what you don’t want to look like when you turn into a mom. Food stuck in hair, not even from todays breakfast, bags down to my chin, smudged mascara, and definitely a stained shirt. If somehow you’ve managed to find the key to successfully looking like a TV ad of perfection in the morning, please, share with me your secrets 😉

For Davids clothes: I bought both his top and sweatpants at HM (of course) and bought multiple colors in each. They run anywhere from 5.99-7.99. They also can be found in the “basics” section where it is Buy 2 get 1 free.
